The blonde actress was born on July 14, 1970. Although her birth name was Melissa Fisher, she is known as Missy Gold. Gold was born to Bonnie and Joe Fisher, originally from Great Falls, Montana.
Missy’s fondness for the performing arts as a child led her to pursue a career in acting. She made her acting debut in 1976, at the young age of six. Her first screen role was in a miniseries Captains and Kings where she played the role of Mary Armagh. The following year she starred as Judy Cardler in Rafferty and as Grace in The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries.
In 1978, she appeared in four television shows including Little Mo, Sword of Justice, The Kid from Not-So-Big, and Ishi: The Last of His Tribe. The previous year, she was seen in Eight is Enough, Project UFO, and How the West Was Won. In the early 80s, Missy Gold appeared in Fantasy Island as Stephanie Hendricks; in Trapper John, MD as Rachel McCall, and she voiced Blink in The Blinkins: The Bear and the Blizzard
She had her breakthrough in 1979 when she joined the cast of the American sitcom, Benson.
